In the history of the development\u00a0 of Titan Matrix Composites (TMC) there have been two successful implementations of this technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

The first implementation took place in 2002 in the engines of the TOYOTA Formula 1<\/strong> Racing Cars.<\/span><\/p>\n

Stud bolts, piston pins or connecting rods a<\/span>re a few samples.<\/span><\/p>\n

Engine parts made of \u00a0TMC were a reason\u00a0\u00a0why TOYOTA engines convinced with one of the staunchest engines in Formula 1 history. TOYOTA used\u00a0TMC from 2002 until\u00a02006.<\/span><\/p>\n

In following year\u00a0 FIA changed the regulations and banned all Composites materials.<\/span><\/p>\n

Technical Director at TOYOTA Formula 1 was Norbert Kreyer. <\/strong><\/span>Klaus <\/strong>Weber<\/strong> is the inventor and has introduced\u00a0TMC at TOYOTA as an engineer of the German Aerospace Center. Both are today members of our Management Team.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

In 2013 Klaus Weber started a Project to implement this Technology in the Russian Aviation<\/strong> ( www.viam.ru). TMC is now successful implemented there. Typical applications are <\/span>Turbine \/ Fan Blades (weight less 30%), Impeller Blade Wheel (weight less 30%)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
